This project included the installation of a new underground electrical distribution, telephone, and date systems brought the resort up to modern standards of safety and convenience. The resort, created in 1962, includes tropical plants, sandy beaches, waterfalls, pathways and over 460 guest rooms and suites.

Installation of the new systems was completed in phases over several months with improvements to all resort buildings, the marine and grounds. Increasing demand for high voltage power and additional telephone lines for expanded communications triggered the electrical upgrade. Additionally, an environmental audit was completed to evaluate the present buildings and structures to see if they conformed to environmental standards.

Other projects scheduled were new guest buildings, a new dock master's building and a world-class marina. LSW also designed the mechanical and electrical systems for the new marina.
