Arizona's first College of Osteopathic Medicine, located on 125 acres, is considered to be the largest facility of its kind in the United States. The campus consists of lecture halls, classrooms, laboratories, a library, faculty and administrative offices, and housing.
The 65,000 SF structure (first phase) serves as the centerpiece of the planned 350,00 SF institution to be completed in 25 years or less. Two student villages will house 500 residential units to be developed in two stages. The first phase of four (4) three-story housing units is complete.
Central Plant
LSW provided mechanical, plumbing and electrical design as well as construction administration services for this project. The project consisted of a 2,500 SF central plant with two 200-ton chillers and provisions in the design for future expansion to 1,200 tons.
