In addition to design development, LSW Engineers conducted an extensive Hardy-cross analysis of the greater airport area's water distribution to verify the adequacy of the proposed system improvements. A second phase of this work included negotiations with the local utility to minimize the substantial water/sewer connection fees. LSW Engineers served as liaison with the electric utility to negotiate preferred and alternate feeder options and to determine cost and operations impacts. LSW Engineers also provided liaison service to the telephone utility to provide the telephone duct bank and manhole system for the new fiber-optic and copper trunks to service the airport.

LSW delivered on schedule and within budget on all segments of this multi-phased project. We also facilitated a $600,000+ incentive from SDG&E for our client for the high-performance glazing and high efficiency central plant construction.
