A two-story office building with one large VAV air handler per floor and fan-powered VAV boxes with hot water reheat. Due to the cool climate, an air cooled chiller was selected but the condenser was located remotely so the chilled water system did not require the addition of glycol. This helps keep the efficiency higher than if the glycol were added. Electrical designs included a snow melting system for rear entrance area, and revised lighting circuits to utilize new power-link controls.
