Arizona State Prison Complex - Lewis Buckeye, AZ

This new prison facility is located on 330 acres, 13 miles south of Buckeye, Arizona. Included are two 800-bed adult male, Level 4 units; two 800-bed adult male, Level 3 units; one 600-bed adult female, Level 3 unit; and four minor male, Level 5 units. The Southwest Regional Juvenile Corrections Center is part of this contract and is located adjacent to the Lewis facility. Included are 400-beds for juvenile males, Levels 3 and 5. Electrical features include high voltage (12kV) distribution and 100-foot High Mast security lighting. Concurrent design was provided for the ASPC-Yuma Dakota Unit, an 800-bed, Level 4 facility. LSW issued close to 600 M/P/E drawings for the above sites in approximately six months with total architectural and engineering change orders of less than 0.5%.
